Cargobloom aggregates real-time freight offer data from major European freight exchanges and logistics platforms. Our data collection system captures spot market offers, route information, distance data, vehicle types, and timestamps.
We do not fabricate or estimate data. Every rate shown is derived from actual market offers.
To ensure data quality, we apply strict validation rules before including an offer in our calculations. Offers must have prices between 0 and 1,000,000 EUR, distances between 1 and 5,000 km, and rates per kilometer between 0.20 and 10.00 EUR/km.
We exclude outliers, incomplete data, zero-distance offers, and duplicate listings. These filters prevent erroneous or manipulated data from skewing market averages.
The primary metric we display is the rate per kilometer (EUR/km). We use a volume-weighted average that naturally gives more weight to larger shipments by dividing the total price by total distance across all offers for a route.
Rate = SUM(price_eur) / SUM(distance_km)
This approach naturally weights longer-distance shipments more heavily than short trips, reflecting actual market activity where volume matters.
All prices are converted to EUR at the time of data capture using official ECB (European Central Bank) exchange rates. This ensures consistent cross-border rate comparisons and historical data stability.
We support PLN, CZK, HUF, RON, GBP, and other European currencies. Exchange rates are updated daily at 15:00 UTC from ECB reference rates.
We report data across multiple time horizons. Today's rate shows the average from midnight UTC to now. The 24h change compares today vs yesterday. Week-over-week (7d) and month-over-month (30d) comparisons are also available.
All timestamps are recorded and processed in UTC timezone. Sparklines show 7 days of daily average rates for volatility visualization.
Our data represents spot market offers, not contracted rates. Actual negotiated prices may differ from posted offer prices. Coverage varies by region, and some routes have more data than others.
For mission-critical applications, we recommend combining our data with your own market intelligence. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on this data.
